Corsair
A Barbary pirate, this was a now defunct group that operated in the Mediterranean Ocean and was based out of modern day Tripoli Libya. The United States Marine Corps gets the lyric "To the Shores of Tripoli" from battles between the USMC and Barbary Pirates in the early 1800s.
Corsairs tended to operate exclusivley in the Mediterranean Ocean.
