These are the people in any branch of the military whose primary job is killing people and breaking things. Anyone in the Special Forces, Navy Seals and any member of the infantry would be considered a warfighter. Doctors, Military Police, etc would not be considered warfighters. It can be a useful term as it distinguishes by function, no branch of service.
